Celebrating Independence Day in Southern Vermont
Wardsboro 4th of July Parade & Street Fair
Only in Vermont will you find a main thoroughfare closed for the parade to pass by!
If you’ve never attended the Wardsboro event you have missed one of the oldest traditions in the Deerfield Valley and the oldest Independence Day parade in southern Vermont.
The street fair opens at 9:00 with 50 vendors lining Main St where you can enjoy the homemade baked goods and handcrafted items. Then at 10:00 the church bell will ring to start the parade. The route begins at the bridge on Route 100 then turns down Main St past the reviewing stand.
I hope to see you there!
